Julie is an accomplished singer, actor and hand drum percussionist. Her singing credits include gigs at the Flamingo Hilton in Las Vegas (Top-40 and Jazz), The Farris Opry in Richmond Missouri (Country), Kauffman Stadium (The National Anthem), Kansas City International Airport, Brookside Art Fair (Calypso and Top-40) and many other Kansas City area venues.She has appeared on television several times as a vocalist and in commercials including The Nashville Network's "Be A Star" show, Fox 4 Network in Kansas City, and Pete Franklin's National Auto commercial. Her independent film/industrial credits include playing Stone in Trustinus Productions' "Zombie Bloodbath" and the AV Narrator for Vanguard Airlines Pilot training films.Julie performed in the popular local (& "all girl") Instamatics band and currently performs in the Calypso Bluz tropical island duo ensemble as lead Vocalist and Hand Drum Percussionist, as well as singing in the Silver and Gold mother-daughter duo where she got her start in 1981.
